Qualified Educational Psychologist to work 4 days a week – but get paid for 5!

If you are an experienced and passionate Educational Psychologist with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, who can work with a diverse range of clients and has a sound knowledge of psychological development and special educational needs, then Valuing Minds would like to hear from you. About Valuing Minds
We are a well-established and in-demand educational psychology consultancy taking referrals from parents, schools, local authorities and lawyers for consultations, individual assessments and casework. We have some ongoing relationships and contracts with schools, including virtual schools, local authorities and other entities, including SEN advocacy organisations. We have a growing reputation for appeals and medico-legal work. We mainly work in London and the Home Counties although sometimes go further afield.

- 20 days’ holiday per annum pro rata plus bank holidays and closure between Xmas and New Year

The role will involve:
- Providing assessment, consultation, and intervention services to schools and families
- Conducting SEN assessments/appeal/tribunal work
- Developing and delivering training and development activities to educators and parents
- Development of products offered by the consultancy
Qualifications and experience
Requirements:
- Doctorate in Educational Psychology or equivalent recognised qualification
- Registration with Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
- Track record of working successfully with children and young people.
The successful candidate will also:

- Be highly organised and self-driven
- Have strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Be an evidence-based practitioner
- Have a high standard of written English and excellent verbal communication skills
- Be proficient in using technology for assessment and intervention
- Work well both independently and within a team
